Now under the care of Atari, Ready 2 Rumble: Revolution is on a bullet-train to retailers come March. But before hitting store shelves, Atari has announced that a new website for the premiere comedy-boxer on the Wii has just opened.

The game itself is a huge boxing parody on famous celebrities from across the entertainment and sports spectrum. Featuring hilarious voice-overs, an extensive create-a-boxer feature and all kinds of hilarity mixed between, Ready 2 Rumble: Revolution is the third installment to a franchise I’m sure everyone thought was done and finished.  Anyway, the game is due out March 17th for the Nintendo Wii. The new website has a lot of features that, at present, aren’t functioning. But I’m sure once construction gets finished it’ll be a blast surfing through the contents of the site or maybe not.  

 
 

Powerhouse French video game maker Ubisoft has found a workout partner in US fitness giant Gold's Gym. The companies announced on Wednesday that they have created a Gold's Gym: Cardio Workout exercise video game designed exclusively for Wii consoles made by Nintendo.

"We are excited to partner with Ubisoft on our first video game," said Lisa Zoellner, chief marketing officer at Gold's, which was made famous by celebrity bodybuilders such as Arnold Schwarzenegger and featured in a 1977 Pumping Iron film. The Gold's game features heart-rate boosting versions of boxing, sit-ups, running and other exercises and tracks amounts of calories burned along with changes in body weight, according to Ubisoft.

 
 

Nintendo is unveiling the Nintendo DSi on April 5, 2009. Amazon is selling the initial allocation as the DSi. The DSi consoles are trying to manage the 2nd and 3 rd spot in the Video Games in the Amazon.com. Nintendo is explaining Wii Fit, “it is a combination of fitness and fun which was specially designed for everyone, young and old. I assure you that Wii Fit is you day to day friend. You will miss Wii Fit in your daily life.

Nintendo is hitting the sweet spot of how much fitness a huge part of people are willing to do. Many people want to take New Year’s resolution to exercise. This is a reason for the continued Wii Fit sales success from the holidays.

 
 

The Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360 all very different propositions and the age and gender mix that play them varies greatly. The user patterns have been mapped for giving a clear picture of the different consoles. The Wii is the bestselling home console of the generation and it is appealing mainly to males who are between six and eleven. If we see females group of 25 and 34 also likes Wii Fit.

Not only is this the women of over the age 35, the use of Wii much more than either the PS3 or Xbox 360.  The most telling static to emerge from various surveys is that the Wii is by far the least used console despite being installed in the most homes.

 
 

The sales of Wii Fit are continuing with 770,000 copies which were grabbed by U.S. consumers in January. According to NPD group sales data showed that Wii Fit third party is cloning, Ubisoft has its Fitness Coach which was sold well in January to the land in the top 20 best selling games in the United States.

The top 20 look showed that more than half of the bestselling games from the January were on Nintendo hardware. The nine Wii games and two Nintendo DS games are also in the list. However, the Xbox 360 was responsible for eight best sellers with just one Play station 3. Anita Frazier is observing that only two of the 10 games for the month were released.

 
 

Sony’s PS3 slump is continuing and the high price is PS3 and which was coupled with weak economy and is proving one two punch against Sony’s current home consoles. According to the survey made by various companies it is seen that the products of Wii and Xbox is gaining momentum from 2008 to 2009 but PS3 is losing its place.

In Killzone 2, Sony is the only company offering three platforms and will continue tom deliver an amazing supply. Wii Fit is making 679,200 supplies. The PlayStation is the brand which has experienced a record year sales in 2008 and they have every reason to believe our blockbuster which was lined up and combined with PS3. It is the most sophisticated entertainment device and it continued to increase the market share in 2009.

 
 

The latest in video game technology has now come as the newest vogue in physical therapy and rehabilitation. Before two weeks, Teamwork Rehab which is the physical department at Hillsboro Area Hospital has acquired the best piece of equipment Nintendo Wii video gaming system. The Rehabilitation Director Chris Whitten declared that it’s a new trend. According to him, several physical therapy departments and nursing homes are accepting it as a part of their rehabilitation programs.

Wii system is not a game which can be included in the series of other games like tennis, bowling or golf etc. It is wireless controller in which the player uses the same arm motion. The rehabilitation director are giving feedback that the patients are maintaining themselves and coming more active with fun.

 
 

Wii is proving to be good for seniors who feel they can’t play bowling with their family and prefer to sit and watch the game. However, they can now play bowling and that too very conveniently at the Elk River Activity Center on a Wii gaming system. The gaming system was donated to the center and it has golf, boxing, tennis and baseball.

The debate of Wii gaming systems as an exercise still continues. The seniors have now felt that the Wii should qualify as an exercise, especially Wii Fit. For them, using the Wii systems is an emotional, social and physical involvement. Few seniors even give credit to the Wii Fit for restoring their balance.

 
 

Wii Fit has been an inspiration for some sites like weightview.com. The site has been launched on January 1st and is designed to lose weight through Visual Motivation. It allows a free registration. All you have to do is to send your current photo telling them you weight loss goal. They will then modify the photo showing you how you would look after achieving your goal. The modified photo acts a motivation for the ladies and inspires them to go ahead with their goals.

The site also organized a contest where you have to tell them your views and opinion about them for a chance to win. The winner would get a Wii Fit as a prize or a cash prize of $160. The entry was till January 30th and the announcement of the winner was on January 31st.

The economic slowdown resulted to the loss of many countries but Australia did not suffer from it. The video game industry did not suffer with huge financial crisis in Australia. The sales for the industry raised up to $1.96 million. Ron Curry, CEO of the Interactive Entertainment Association of Australia says that the industry sales have grown by 112 percent since 2006.

The Sydney Morning Herald reports that Nintendo has lead the way in 2009 after the beating records in Christmas sales. Australia Nintendo does not expect any downfall. However Nintendo Australia managing director believes that this type of sales will not last forever and will eventually slow down.
