Now under the care of Atari, Ready 2 Rumble: Revolution is on a bullet-train to retailers come March. But before hitting store shelves, Atari has announced that a new website for the premiere comedy-boxer on the Wii has just opened.
The game itself is a huge boxing parody on famous celebrities from across the entertainment and sports spectrum. Featuring hilarious voice-overs, an extensive create-a-boxer feature and all kinds of hilarity mixed between, Ready 2 Rumble: Revolution is the third installment to a franchise I’m sure everyone thought was done and finished. Anyway, the game is due out March 17th for the Nintendo Wii. The new website has a lot of features that, at present, aren’t functioning. But I’m sure once construction gets finished it’ll be a blast surfing through the contents of the site or maybe not.
Powerhouse French video game maker Ubisoft has found a workout partner in US fitness giant Gold's Gym. The companies announced on Wednesday that they have created a Gold's Gym: Cardio Workout exercise video game designed exclusively for Wii consoles made by Nintendo.
"We are excited to partner with Ubisoft on our first video game," said Lisa Zoellner, chief marketing officer at Gold's, which was made famous by celebrity bodybuilders such as Arnold Schwarzenegger and featured in a 1977 Pumping Iron film. The Gold's game features heart-rate boosting versions of boxing, sit-ups, running and other exercises and tracks amounts of calories burned along with changes in body weight, according to Ubisoft.
